A five star rating does not even come close to evaluating the performance of this company. A rental property provided by Black Label was an introduction to the quality of construction which carried through in the build of our current home. Constant updates on supply chain conditions, availability of subs and scheduling, progress goals or any other issue were consistently provided. Have a question? Working with Brian and Black Label Custom Homes was a pleasure. We were remodeling an old barn to accommodate a restaurant when we met Brian. On the first day we were supposed to start the remodel our original general contractor quit and left us hanging. We were in panic mode because due to our construction loan and liquor license requirements, we had a limited amount of time to complete the remodel. It turned out to be a blessing in disguise. We have been subcontracted by Black Label Construction a number of times over the last 6 years and Brian has been a pleasure to work with. We are not always the lowest Well Drilling Contractor around and we appreciate their willingness to not always take the lowest bid. I believe that this is an indication of their desire to provide a quality home to their customers. A friend recently purchased a home built by Black Label and much of the design seems poorly thought out. It is a very small home, so you would think efficient use of space would be paramount. The hall closet hanging rack is not set deep enough, so you cannot shut the door with clothes hanging on hangers, the crawl space door is located where the washer and dryer are supposed to go so standard size ones do not fit in the space.
