Chill spot for a coffee!
Nice little coffee shop. Had their Special blend "Black Iron" as a hot latte, it was very good. Will definitely be visiting the shop again.
If you’re looking for a morning coffee kick this place is not it. The coffee is very bland and the staff were not friendly. Syrups are overly sweet and it just wasn’t amazing. I also felt as if I bothered them by walking in the door. Zero conversation, zero friendliness, very odd for a local coffee shop.
I love the products at Black Iron: the batch brew coffee is fantastic, and the chai is my favorite. However, the customer service has been lacking since the change in ownership. Unfortunately, on my last two visits the customer service has been dismal. At my most recent visit, I specified that I would like regular milk in my coffee when I placed the order. When my drink came out, I asked again for the regular milk, and the gentleman (owner? Manager?) behind the counter allowed me to have not even a splash of milk. I asked fo... read more
