It's a beautiful campus and town. There are plenty of activities to do in and around the Spearfish, SD area, that are in expensive and easy to get to. The locals and faculty at BHSU are friendly and helpful no matter the question. The teachers are dedicated to helping their students get good grades and get their degree on time. I would recommend this school to anyone who wants a good education, helpful staff and beautiful campus/town.
I am amazed at how wonderful it's been to be able to attend college while still taking care of my family. Online classes make it possible to get my degree, finally, even with four kids to raise.
The campus was huge and everyone who I bumped into were so friendly.
BHSU has down to earth staff and faculty that genuinely care about your success. Their follow-up after graduation is impressive - I have met with faculty post-graduation for guidance and they've happily assisted in any way they could. My experiences at BHSU gave me worldly perspective, honed my critical thinking, and fostered leadership skills I was sorely lacking.
