When I notified Blackhawk about moving, they charge us $150 deposit. We weren’t sure of the date and then on November 13. I called them and said that we need to move on the 19th. I had scheduled our Internet to be hooked up on the 18th And our satellite service was being hooked up on Monday the 20th on the 19th they didn’t show up and on the 13th. Worst experience. I was quoted $450 for 2 movers, 2 hours, travel, and supplies to wrap furniture. They charged me 4 times for a total over $1,000. I requested a refund via email for the additional charges as I did not get what I paid for. They have not resolved this issues. I hired two movers to help me move my one bedroom apartment less than one mile. One of the two movers could not lift the larger/heavy items. My parents booked Blackhawk moving because they are a veteran owned company and had one of the cheaper quotes. One of the worst moves I have had. I moved a 1 bedroom, 1 bath apartment (with all the little things already packed up) within the same apartment complex (less than a minute away). We were quoted 2 hours at $400. We sent pictures of the two apartments and even included the 2 flights of stairs as well as all of the furniture that was needed to be moved and they still quoted us 2 hours.
