Called several places looking to find a place that Specializes in moving Grandfather clocks as they require disassembly and then reassembly. I asked if they had experienced movers. They promised me they did however when the two guys that arrived, they look like they were on drugs, took them 45 minutes just to get the ladder out of the truck. Then when moving my Grandfather clock that is from 1983 They just threw a blanket over it moved it without taking things out, causing it to break. Black Hawk Moving was an extremely disappointing experience and, in my opinion, a poor representation of the men and women who have served our country. The crew arrived late, was understaffed (only three of the four paid movers showed up), and came unprepared with a very limited number of furniture pads for a five-bedroom home. Before they even began moving our belongings, we were charged for nearly an hour while they cleaned out their trucks to make room for our items. This was my first time hiring a moving company . I'm just over the whole loading the truck part. They've got to be the best moving company in the Scottsdale, Arizona. Team Lewis and Joel were extremely fantastic, and professional. They called 30 minutes before they showed up to confirm they were arriving, they called again once they arrived. Don't let the fact this company mentions ventrans sway you to want to hire them. I hired them to move me 10/20/2025 I got a call at close to 6pm the movers got sick can they come the next day I agreed along with being compensated never got compensated. Was wrongly overcharged also had to file a claim due to my belongings being damaged. The claims department took the whole 90 + days to not take accountability. It's so hard to find a moving company with morals ethics and don't lie this company is one I urge anyone to stay away

This company is a scam. They show up 1-2 hours later then promised. They send people who don’t know what they are doing. They scratched walls, & doors, the movers smoked and took several breaks and ruined several pieces furniture plus scratched multiple pieces then charge your card several hundreds dollar over the estimate hours past the move was done. No one will answer at the main office. They are unprofessional & smoke while moving in & out of your house even after you ask them not to. We have moved across country twice w... read more
