Dinner was fabulous! The vegan Silesian dumplings were amazing. If it were acceptable, I would have licked the plate. The beet salad, grilled oysters, and Negroni were all great too! All had a Polish flair to them.

First time dining here. We loved the ambiance and the cocktails were quite amazing EXCEPT for the old fashioned riff with the fat washed. It literally tasted like you were drinking grease. Not good at all. I loved the tartare. The pierogies were good. Now the disappointment that gives this a 2 star is the entrees. We ordered the duck dish which is in the name and yet it was borderline too salty and the rhubarb wasn’t incorporated properly in the dish, it was just left off to the side weirdly. Black Duck is our neighborhood favorite! This time we sat on the patio with friends from out of town. We had pierogis, beef tartare, smoked trout krokiety, half chicken, flat iron steak, smash burger, and fried chicken sandwich…ALL FANTASTIC! Julissa was our server, and she was fun and super helpful, answering all of our questions in detail! Love Black Duck!

We had 7pm reservations on a Thursday night. It was fairly crowded in the outdoor patio. More seats were available inside. While we were eating the crowd began to thin out. The service was wonderful. Our waitress was attentive and knowledgeable about the entire menu, including drinks. I had the double cut pork chops with reminded me of eating in Japan as it was served with the bone but cut off of it and into pieces (chopstick culture ). Absolutely phenomenal. My husband and I ordered a variety of apps and the Duck two ways. Loved everything!
