Best ribs I have ever had
I was told by a buddy that this is THE place to eat.....lunch or dinner. All I can say is that I have eaten here twice now. I had the Cuban and loved it. I had the brisket....OH MY! Melt in your mouth tender, great flavor. Loved the sauce on the side. I will become a regular.......
I tell people it's the best. I've been to great BBQ restaurants throughout the US. Black Dog makes my mouth water just thinking of it. Great people food and beverage. Can't wait for BD Champaign to open. Maybe it'll be easier to get in BDU for lunch.

I come to Urbana from Bloomington just to eat here. Been here 3 times now and everything is great, food, service and atmosphere. Robert was our server today and was very friendly. Open a location in Bloomington!

Hands down the best smokehouse I've ever ate, with the most top notch/friendliest service I've ever had. I would recommend this to absolutely anyone!!!

Had the brisket platter w/red cabbage slaw & French fries. Seats approx. 38 plus 15 at the bar. Brisket was surprisingly tender with rich smokey flavor. I chose the Georgia peach sauce on the side. Simply delicious. Great atmosphere and friendly staff.
