At age 64 I got my first tattoo ever. Didn't want big, gaudy or bizarre. Just something smallish, tasteful and meaningful to me. I got a starfish with some rockweed swirls near my wrist to remind me of the Legend of the Starfish. It's about 2x 1 1/2" when you include the swirls of the rockweed. Bob Kerr did an awesome job. He heard me talking to my friend about my favorite color and he floated some of that into the background so the tattoo is grounded. I'd include a pic, but right now my arm is bruised.
