After a long day on the trails at silver falls, this was the best spot to dine at after. Our server Quinten was so kind and attentive. We were hungry and the portion sizes did not disappoint. I had the Tri tip with the soup of the day and cornbread. My date had chicken fried steak with french fries it came with massive biscuits. Food was so good!
Awesome, awesome, awesome family atmosphere, cozy warm feels like you're getting away.It's just got this great comfortable feeling without being overcrowded.
I have been here three times now and it was consistently great. Being something of a bear fanatic, the decor is right up my alley, too. If it is offered, I try the chicken fried steak at every restaurant I go to, and Black Bear Diner's is the best I have had thus far (probably the closest I have come to tasting genuinely homemade).
