I always have the best experiences here. Maggie is the best waitress at Black Bear! Every time I come in for breakfast, she’s so warm and welcoming. Seeing her is always a highlight of my visit. She reminds me of going to the coffee shop when I was a kid, when a familiar face and a friendly conversation made you feel right at home. Maggie brings that same feeling to every visit, and it’s people like her who make a place special.
Food, service and atmosphere were good. The location seemed odd to me but haven’t visited this area of Sacramento before so… Overall good and I would go back the server was awesome and super nice.

I don't understand why they have more. Over a 5 star, I really like black bear diner, but this morning, a server was not attentive. She asked me if I would like another drink. And after I got my food, it seemed like I was a ghost. I wanted more butter for my toast cause I had a lot of them and I even gave her eye contact. And she looked right at me, but never approached me to ask me anything, so I didn't tip well, I wanted to tip well, but I couldn't. The server was too worried after he got your food. Everything was great. My only complaint was that it was a little cool in there. The air conditioning needed to be turned down
