I am so glad to see a restaurant in the Ye Olde Lake George Inn building once more! Fine dining in the area used to be the Fossil Inn and Ye Olde Lake George Inn...both served good food back then I stopped in earlier this week to check it out and was very pleased with the Italian sub! Nice crusty Italian roll, great meats and cheeses, fresh spring mix lettuce, olives and....sweet pickles. Blah blah blah delivered 5 star drip coffee and cappuccino on this snowy morning. Next visit I am coming back for a meatball sandwich. This cafe is a gem in Lake George, clean and friendly; sip your coffee in front of the fire and get to know the locals.
My Husband and I were out checking out Jeep trails today and stopped in for a bite to eat and it was a very good choice. I had the Ham and Cheese Muffins and it was very delicious. He had an Italian sub and he said it was very good and had a Delicious taste to it. The owner was very friendly and we enjoyed talking with him. We will be back.
Fantastic atmosphere and the food is to die for! FABULOUS coffees, too!
