I’m a member at the BJs new Albany. Membership expires in Nov, and after today’s trip I’ve decided I’m not renewing and I’ll move to Costco Easton instead. Many reasons including higher prices or the same prices for smaller quantities compared to Costco which my mom has. But the final straw is their snack bar is never open. The last four times I went in the morning it was closed. I assumed I was going to early but today Friday 2/6 at 5pm it was again closed. EVERYtime I go there, which is three times monthly, there is no one working the snack bar. We ask and the self scan employee says they have no idea where they are.One time someone was there and they had it closed and were cleaning it up an hour before it said it closed. The coupons are NEVER labeled on products. No one there does their job and I don’t know how management puts up with it. We are definitely going back to Costco. Don’t waste your money or time

BJ’s is an inferior wholesale club to both Costco and Sam’s Club. Prices are slightly higher than Costco by about $0.10 on non-sale items for everything inside the store. The store is also significantly smaller than Costco and therefore has less selection. The snack center offers hot dogs, popcorn, pretzels, cookies, and soda. The hot dogs are not all beef like Costco and Sam’s and basically taste like bologna.
