Paid $15 to join. Prices did not impress me compared to other stores. Get to the register and Heidi snapped at my husband for putting water on shelf at the self checkout. What is this Aldi's? No bags. Sorry, no need to go back there.

I specifically bought a discount membership for a few items. Naturally the pork roll disappeared right after I joined. Asked a meat clerk when it would be in again. While walking away he said “maybe tomorrow, maybe Monday or Tuesday”…useless. I wanted small amounts of deli to try their lunch meats. The girl didn’t show thickness, didn’t offer samples, didn’t smile, was VERY obviously miserable, and moved so slow it had to be deliberate…also useless. However I called the meat/deli today. They have reasonable prices in bulk, but they have a really, really small selection in their produce. Their meat selection is just okay. I absolutely hate having to check out all of my own products at self service. That is probably the worst thing about that place. I just want someone to scan my bottles of wine and may not have to wait a minute and a 1/2 in order for someone to stop talking to come and give clearance

Overall, very disappointing. First, paid $120 for membership but lady at desk keyed in the basic card so we missed out on gas discount and whatever the better card bonus would have been for the first couple shopping trips. Super disappointed with the lack of a bakery section. I bought prepackaged glazed donuts that off the table were frozen. Got home and they were all wet and soggy. Prices are not great on most items. Hopefully in the next year we recoup our money putting gas in our hybrid.
