Asked cashier to load my groceries into my green bags my husband placed open into the cart and was told no, he needed to load them himself. Was it easier to hand the scanned items to him or just place them into the large, opened, flat bottomed green bags! So done with snippy cashiers at BJ’s!

Only 1 register open at 5pm on a Saturday. There was an employee trying to coerce everyone waiting to use self checkouts. Multiple people said no. Maybe you should open more registers and stop eliminating jobs. Definitely not renewing my membership.
This will be my last time here. I always go to the self check lane because I do not like the whole process of dealing with employees. This is the second time in a row that someone was bothering me constantly while I was scanning my groceries. Also if the date on the front of the coupon book says a certain date range, all the coupons in the book should match those dates. Who has the time to read every single coupon! Up until last night, I would have given a 5 star review. However, last night was an absolute disaster. My husband and I went to get some of our monthly items, including diapers and wipes. The only registers that were open were the self-check out. We also had our 13 month old with us, so using the self check outs with large items and a toddler was not an easy task.
