My appointment with the pain doc well was degrading to the fullest!!!I was completely honest with her and asap she herd I had used drugs as a teen and have been clean since I was 19...she over talked me and treated me with such distain it was all I could do not to cry and leave her office!!!I made up an ecusse and left... Will be seeing my primary doc to ask about going someplace else I can not no no I won't put myself through seeing that holier then tho doc again. dr Bender is very attentive and thoughtful in how he presents information. He is a pleasure to talk with. You know you are being heard when you voice your concerns.
I am so grateful to be seeing a doctor who truly understands how it is to live with no pain-free time. Dr. Bender doesn't have any pain-free time either. To live it is to know it, in a unique and helpful way.
