One of kind! This was an awesome place to stay and the staff, bar, restaurant, etc were phenomenal! Highly recommend if visiting.
My wife and I really enjoyed our stay at the Highlander Mountain House, located in downtown Highland, NC. My wife enjoyed the shopping, and our dog loved the facility and its welcoming staff. Needless to say, we enjoyed our stay and will be back. Great hiking, waterfalls, and a myriad of things to do in the area.
What a wonderful experience we had at the Highlander Mountain House Inn. From the property to the beautiful rooms. The bathrooms were perfectly appointed, and we loved having a private balcony right on the Main Street. Charm everywhere you looked. The Ruffed Grouse restaurant and entire staff a perfect 10!
We had two great meals at the Ruffed Grouse during our weekend in the Highlands. Dinner was amazing, and Sunday brunch was delicious with live music in the restaurant.
