The shrimp & grits were to die for!!! It was a small portion but in all fairness, it indicated that it was snack size on the menu. Lemon drop cocktails are one of my favorite & theirs was really good. I sat on the balcony....nice watching the view during Dream Cruise. Portion size for sodas are a bit too small....hopefully that changes. Waitress was polite. I'd DEFINITELY go back. Next visit i plan to check out the market downstairs.
The food is overpriced and underwhelming. It's way too hot in there, too dark, my food was room temp at best, and the restrooms were filthy. I won't be going back.
Sunday was my first visit there after church for brunch. Didn't have reservations and was immediately seated. I ordered the Praise the Lard meal. If you're the type that doesn't like your food touching each other, than this dish and others like it is not for you. The food is stacked on top of each other. It consisted of grits/cheese/ pulled pork with chipotle sauce/and a fried egg and jalapeño corn bread on the side. Very tasty. It's above Joe's grocery store. Will have to go back and try the French Toast.
