I was over in the Lake Burien area and found this place... I'm so glad we decided to go down this street and find this place by accident. Was great food, very attentive staff. Really is no reason for me to fight the downtown Seattle traffic when I crave Italian food anymore.

Outstanding Italian – Excellent Northern Italian cuisine.The seafood dishes are fresh and savory.The homemade pastas are creative and mouthwatering.Remarkable wine list with some excellent bottles priced very reasonably. Exemplary service and not rushed. Great value for the quality of food and service.

Great food but...... – October 29th we had arranged for a party of 20 to stop and eat at Bistro Baffi before a 7:30 concert. The food was great but the following things occurred: - We were never shown a menu - After looking online at reasonable menu prices, all the choices that night (other than just pasta) were $30-$35 (we were told there would be a set menu but told nothing of the higher prices) - Wine glasses were topped off when only half empty and charged as a full glass of wine - We were asked if we wanted a salad with... read more

Not the place for a large group – Had an all-round bad experience here in October: waited til now just because we were working with the owner to remedy the problem--to no avail. Group of 20, known to be arriving at 5:30 pm and NEEDED to be gone by 7 pm (symphony concert). 1. Never given a menu, only a HUGE list of options orally to the whole table by one waitress (hence no prices seen). 2. Best Italian food I have had in Seattle. – My wife and I went to Seattle to visit a friend. We decided to try this place out due to the reviews. I was kinda leary at first from the place being located in a dirty looking strip mall. We were in for a very plesant suprise. The staff was very curteous and friendly. We were seated right away and givin our drinks. We all ordered a different plate and were amazed on how good the food was. Great meal everytime – The local food is always served in a fantastic way. We have had company parties, family dinners and frequently have gone on New Years and Valentines Days. We have take friends visiting town and never hesitated to send local friends or business clients. The great wine recommendations always seem to match the food every time. From the Beach Cafe in West Seattle to now Bistro Baffi for 20yrs Michael and Dinka have never disappointed in making the visit a great night out.

The most comfortable place for a special dinner – The experience of Michael the Chef is what's behind the quality of the food. Professional, quiet staff know how to anticipate your needs. They don't come asking "How's you folks doing?" when you have a full mouth! The wine selection is very good. I have been there several times and I am not getting tired. Every time is a new pleasant experience.
