Bistro 45 is a very hot spot on the quickly rising East Side. Located in Pasadena, this Cal-French hybrid offers the best of both worlds. The wine list is fantastic, the decor is tasteful, and the mood is romantic. Be sure to save room for the always exquisite desserts as well. Those who live by the Rose Bowl do not have to make the drive for quality European anymore. Forget that immediate impulse, though. Rising popularity has made reservations here a must.

Recommendedi had a great birthday dinner there for 60 people. Robert is a great restauranteur.
We go as often as we can for their prix fixe wine pairing dinners. $75/pp and then we can purchase the wines we sample directly from the distributor. Robert and his staff are amazing. Family has been going there for 10+ years and we will continue the tradition. They also have excellent brunches for special occasions ie birthdays, Mother’s Day, valentines etc. Get on their mailing list to get all of their events. I attended my first Wine Pairing Dinner tonight with my boyfriend and his parents. It was a fantastic evening! From the food to the wine to the atmosphere...I couldn't have asked for anything better.
Best Farm to Table Restaurant around!!!
Check this place out!!! It is one of the rare examples of an established restaurant that cares about the food and experience of the diners. The food is great, the service is superb, there are excellent specials and every time we go there, we feel like it is a special event. They take the time to make great menus and the care to serve clients as guests. We look forward to returning many times in the future.
We have been to two wine dinners and several evening dinners. The food has always been excellent, as has the service and ambiance. Great cocktails and wine selection as well. It has become one of our local favorites.
