Fantastic meal! We recently had dinner at another well-known New York City restaurant that came with a great reputation, so our expectations were high. Bistecca was simply better. The Filet Oscar was cooked exactly as I ordered it—fork-tender and packed with flavor. The sides were every bit as impressive. The gnocchi, potatoes au gratin, asparagus with hollandaise, and Brussels sprouts were all outstanding. Absolutely the best Chop house!
I’m never the person to leave a bad review but this was not good. We went there with my family for my birthday. Server spilled beer on me and down the back of my chair. Never even cleaned it up. I sat there the entire dinner with a puddle of beer under my feet. Didn’t even comp any items off the bill and had the audacity to give a coupon for a free dessert on my NEXT visit! Truly ridiculous.
