Prices are beginning to get out of hand. Everything is donated yet they back up the prices on everything. Example: dishware. A used plate goes for $2, drinking glass (non crystal), $2. Used sports bottles go for an average of $3. You will pay an average of $5 for an unusable frying pan. Everyone knows that when there are scratches in Teflon it needs to be tossed. These people are getting so bad that they resell broken or non working toys and kitchen gadgets. Faux leather coats are going for $25. (Garage sale price for a REAL... read more

local source of bergains and fun Bishop's Attic is an Anchorage treasure! Their thrift shop has given us so many scores, from popcorn makers and camping gear to summer wardrobes and vintage Kids' VHS at a nickel apiece. Their sales are worth paying attention to, such as "all ladies pants, five pair for a dollar!" spectacular. I also like knowing that their proceeds go directly into our community; donation pickup service is reliable and courteous, too.

Great thriftstore, Greater prices – I've been going to Bishop's Attic since the late 90's, have lived in trhe "hood" for many years. Best thrift prices in town as far as I can tell.I LOVE looking for books here, if you get there during or after the "book lady" has been puttring out books you can really score. I've also found some nice "knicknacks" here, I like collecxting coin banks, keep an eye out, also scored a great framed & glassed print of a Monet at half price the other day...Their sales are wonderful & regular. The s... read more

Great! This is a great thrift store to spend a couple of hours in. They have really good sales on certain colored tags and LOTS of cheap furniture and baby supplies. I LOVE the book sales. You can find almost any title you are looking for and I think regular price is 4 for $1. They also have a pretty good selection of old albums for less than a buck. I've also picked up pre-recorded movies for pennies. They are staffed by some really sweet ladies (and men) who are always willing to help you find your hearts desire.
