I put a large deposit down in May 2022. Bishop & Rook (Michael) has been unresponsive with very little communication and missed the timeline for my Defender build. It was supposed to be completed in roughly 48-weeks. It has been twice that long with next to no communication and little response to my phone calls, emails, texts, Facebook messenger messages, WhatsApp communication attempts, etc. I am still awaiting a response from Bishop & Rook with respect to my project. Like many other reviewers or commenters here. We made a deposit for our build in 2021 with the expectation of a delivery by spring of 22. However, as of 30/08/23, we still don't have any updates or signs of our vehicle being delivered. I've tried reaching out numerous times—sending over 8 e-mails in the past few months alone. Regrettably, our attempts to communicate have been mostly one-sided, with a vast majority of our inquiries going unanswered. Buyer Beware I did not want to post this but after 7 months I have received no response from the owner of Bishop+Rook to resolve this issue. There is a reason Bishop+Rook LLC has a C+ and 1 star rating on the BBB website In July of 2022 I signed a contract with Bishop+Rook for an off the frame restoration of a Defender 110 (Standard Hard Top Country Wagon Package). January 5, 2023 I decided to end my contract and requested a refund on my deposit. By contract I had every right to cancel the order. Up to that point I had recei... read more

I first reached out to Bishop and Rook in January of 2021, he responded quickly to calls, text and emails. After approximately a month, we had the details of my order and the pricing agreed to with a contract signed in February of 2021. The owner originally told me that my build would take approx. 4 months and that he was going to try and do it as quickly as possible. Fast forward to today, June 28, 2023, and I still do not have my vehicle. I have paid each invoice within a week of receiving it, so there has not been a delay... read more
