I started going there for therapy because I was suicidal and dealing with a bad relationship. I missed one appointment because I had a panic attack and was suicidal I needed hospitalization. So they sent me a $60 bill to help me out since I was not able to make my appointment. 🤦♀️ I have a physical disability and I can’t even pay the $60. Dismissed me claiming I was non compliant to a urine sample. After 12 years of seeing melissa she dismisses me for not being able to make it to the office. Wait til the medical board hears this
Melissa was terrible and irresponsible with her patients’ well-being. She didn’t check my medication blood levels for eight months and showed favoritism toward certain patients. When I explained to her that my father was in jail for strangling my mom and brother, she responded with, “Oh, bless his heart,” making it seem like I was the awful person for blaming my father for his actions.
DO NOT GO HERE!! HORRIBLE OFFICE MANAGER/rRECPTIONIST—poor quality patient care. Very run down office and practice. Try Norman’s mental health clinic which is free if you qualify before going here! It’s professional and they take proper care of their patients. This clinic is truly a last resort place to go!! I went to see Melissa for several years and felt my care was good. After being off meds for over 8 years, I finally decided I needed help again. I found Melissa and I'll never look back! She is always attentive to my needs and concerns. Love her! And her office manager, Cherri I think her name is, is also wonderful. She's always so cheerful whenever I call and I've never had any issues. 10/10 would recommend.
