I have had the best experience with this company for a few years now. Rick was on time, courteous and his prices well you can't beat them. He has fixed my ice maker, washing machine, hot water heater, oven and microwave. At different times of course. I will continue to use this company not only for the guaranteed work but Ricks work ethic and kind disposition. He goes above and beyond to satisfy his customers and worked with me on payments. I highly recommend this company. You will not be disappointed.
Rick Bishop is the owner and he came to my house to look at my refrigerator. He was very knowledgeable and he seemed happy to share some valuable information with me to help me in keeping my refrigerator trouble free for a longer period of time. He completed the repair in one visit and he didn't break the bank with his price! Rick even followed up the very next day to make sure my refrigerator was working well.
Bad Service Call I called and made an appointment 2 months ahead of time. No one showed up and no one called to say they were not coming. Wait all day to have my washer repaired, it is still broken.
Horrible experience with this company! I hired them to repair my oven in May of 2011. Rick showed up very late for the first appointment, I wasn't very happy but figured I would let it go. I didn't realize at the time that this is standard practice for this company. He troubleshot the oven to a faulty control board and gave me a price and a new appointment time. This customer was verbally abusive to my son. He acted as if my son did not know what he was doing. When I checked my son's work I found that he had connected the board according to the manufacturer's schematics, however the schematics showed the warmer drawer and the warmer burner in reverse to their original orientation. When I reversed these connections it simply changed which option was being controlled but did not correct the problem. Excellent Job. Very nice guy! Was able to come same day, within a few hours of my call. Very nice and professional. Had the needed parts in hand so the repair was quick. Would use again or recommend to others.
Never Showed Set up appointment between 6-7pm. They called at 7:10pm and said they were running late, and would be here in an hour. At 10:00pm, they called and said last job took longer than expected. Wanted to know if I still wanted them to come. We rescheduled for 6pm the next night. Never showed. At 7:30pm I got a voice mail saying they forgot to put my appointment on their schedule and could be at my house at 8-8:30pm. I didn't reply. I didn't feel like having another night wasted. Very disappointing.
excellent job I would highly recommend Bishop and Son Home Appliance Repair. I just moved to AZ from another state, and needed my dryer cord changed to fit the new house. They came out the same day I called, the repairman was friendly and courteous, and Bishop and Son, they didn't charge an arm and a leg. I would recommend calling them for any home appliance repair.

Highly Recommended - 1/22/10 I called Bishop and Son on a Saturday after my three year old GE refrigerator was intermittently having cooling problems. Rick answered the phone and after describing the symptoms, he diagnosed the problem over the phone. Rick was at my house within two hours with the suspected bad part. What impressed me was that Rick didn’t just install the part and leave but thoroughly inspected my refrigerator to make sure he diagnosed the real problem.
