Chicken Sandwich was perfect. The chicken was fried perfectly and the piece of chicken itself was massive. The biscuit for the sandwich was a perfect pairing and the ratio of biscuit to chicken was perfect. The other highlight was the cinnamon bun biscuit. Equal parts biscuit and pastry into a unique and perfect match
Yummy 😋 fried chicken sandwiches. Too bad you missed it; he is closing in one week (6/30/24). The city will be a sadder place without Van and we will be too!
A hidden gem in dog patch.. Was super excited to find this Southern comfort food biscuits.. it reminded me of my time in North Carolina I got the wild mushroom biscuit, Mexican hot chocolate biscuit and the lemon strawberry scone I'm sad that this place is closing by June 30 because they couldn't renew their lease.. Lucky that I was able to stop by before it closed.. We will miss you and thank you so much for your love for biscuits. Best chicken biscuit this side of the Mississippi. Also super friendly staff, variety of delicious biscuits and comfortable vibes inside
