We have been with Biscayne for 15 yrs. It has definitely changed since new management with Ginko. Our property used to be clean and well maintained. Now, buildings are dirty, trash left at the dumpsters for days. Maintenance was not always efficient and some of the techs didn't seem to care about repairs being done right the first time. We did have a good experience with Karla and she made our recent move out easy and problem free. We were shocked when asked to leave, since our lease was up end of Sept. Do not rent from Biscayne Apartments aka Ginkgo Properties. The apartments are not well maintained and maintenance is not done properly. I have had numerous issues since moving here in October 2024, including the kitchen sink leaking, the dryer not working, and the hot water in the bathtub coming out brown. The water issue has happened intermittently since October and they have said they fixed it but it keeps coming back. All of this is happening in a newly renovated apartment! UPDATE: They’ve remodeled many of the units and added screened in porches — The gift that keeps on giving!!! These apartments are very spacious; with lots of closet space. Also, there's a laundry room; not a laundry closet. If a repair is needed, they immediately resolve the issue. Additionally, it's next door to a shopping center and close to the expressway. Actually, it's conveniently located to most things
DO NOT LIVE HERE! I will admit at first when we viewed the space Becky was excellent and provided great service, the renovated apartments are nice, new appliances. but now after you move in you can forget getting in contact with the office about your problems. I tried calling several times about car break in’s that happened to myself and my neighbors , I refused to walk my dog in the neighborhood and it’s quite small, due to finding used needles, busted alcohol bottles, drugs on the sidewalks, homeless people and non residen... read more
