Alright The hotel room we stayed in at the Tropicana was pretty big but awfully plain. It was somewhat like a Best Western-type room. However, I found the lobby rather impressive (at least compared to our room). The amenities were pretty basic and I was not impressed by that. The bathroom was pretty ugly though.

Staying at the Trop I stayed at The Tropicana for a month and fell in love with it. The pools are fabulous. It is close walking to The MGM Grand, Excaliber, Luxor and New York New York Casinos. The best free Vegas show 'Airplay' happens six times a day. Acrobats flying over your head... and man do they ROCK! PROS: Wonderful grounds CONS:

A part of history The Tropicana Hotel and Casino is one of the older ones on the strip. The inside looks like an average casino, nothing standing out particularly. The adult shows are wonderful though. The rooms are nice and they have swimming pools to relax at. It is centrally located to the more popular casions. It is right on the corner of a large number of hotels and casions now.

Better than I thought! This hotel and casino is much better than I expected. Though smaller than others on the strip, it brings some great in-casino shows to life, and really offers a variety of entertainment and lots of good gaming. Spacious casino! Right on the strip, it gives you a good location for either staying on premises or venturing out to play.
