As a black woman I do not support this birthing center bc of their support for BLM movement. My views do not align with this movement and the last place I want to be giving birth is some place that has politicized my skin color. It’s common sense that all lives should and do matter. I will be taking my business elsewhere.
Birthwise Birth Center is home to some phenomenal midwifes. Brielle and Melek are incredible people. One of the best decisions I made in my last pregnancy was to be in their care. They have navigated 2020, beautifully, with grace, all while prioritizing the safety, health, and wellbeing of their clients. My family and I are forever grateful for the way they cared for us.
We are so incredibly thankful to Brielle and Melek for such a wonderful experience throughout my pregnancy. I am so lucky to have found them, they are kind, honest and incredibly knowledgeable. They have a holistic and natural approach to pregnancy that was refreshing. They took care of me and our baby Mabel throughout my pregnancy, they made sure to guide us through the experience and kept an open and honest conversation. I love Birthwise and hope they continue to grow and expand to provide the same experience to other wome... read more
I can not recommend Birthwise enough. I began my prenatal care with them at around 18 weeks after becoming increasingly disappointed with traditional prenatal care. No question was too small and I was always met with empathy and care. My birth (40 hours of labor!) was the hardest thing I have ever done but I feel like I couldn’t have been in better ha... read more
Business response:
Thanks so much for your kind words. We are so happy to have had the opportunity to share such an important time in your life with you and look forward to watching your sweet baby grow!
If you are looking for a birth experience you have control over, Birthwise is perfect. A woman should be able to labor and give birth in a way that empowers her and makes her feel comfortable. April and the staff here will help you have the birth you imagined.
I had my fourth baby at BirthWise after having three hospital births. I fell in love the first time I walked in and had such a naturally peaceful home-like experience. Even when my insurance would have paid 100% for a hospital birth and 0% for this, I will still highly recommend going to BirthWise. They provide exceptional love and care, not just for you and baby medically, but emotionally as well.
