Mother of 3, first 2 births were hospital and I always had something to complain about,but here? Nothing. Birth is birth. It's difficult and painful and exhausting, but doing it with birthing your way made the experience so much more enjoyable. The staff was supportive and positive through out the pregnancy and birth. With this being my final pregnancy I'm beyond happy that I went the birthing center route and if asked I have only good things to say about Birthing Your Way.
I decided on this place for the birth of my baby, long story short I ended up giving birth at the hospital cause I wasn't dilating. I went into the birth center after my baby was born for the newborn check up. We saw the nurse practitioner Heather Shelley. After that check up we were shocked, she was holding our 4day old baby & decided to kiss her on the cheeks, not just once but twice. My wife and I have had two excellent birth experiences here with Heather. As a husband attending prenatal, birth, and postpartum appointments, I feel like I can ask all the questions I want and be as involved as I dare. I recently gave birth for the second time with Heather at Birthing Your Way. I cannot recommend them enough! I have recommended them to all my sisters and friends--if you're interested in giving birth safely outside of a hospital setting, they are the ones for you! Birthing Your Way makes it possible to have an out-of-hospital birth even when your personal situation may not be considered ideal. I had a first appointment for $250. The midwife that saw me was fired/ quit shortly after, so I’m switching providers and wasn’t given a refund which is disappointing. They don’t take my insurance so it was already expensive.
