Wife and I had our second child here. Not thrilled with the experience. The midwives are mostly fine, but the place is operationally challenged. Getting an appointment was never easy. Once they had us go to a location across town that was poorly marked with no lights on and no one at the desk. The birth itself was good but that's entirely due to the doulas we hired. I had an amazing experience with Holistic Midwifery and Birthing Center NYC! This was my first child and I am so happy that I experienced pregnancy and birth with them. Everyone- midwives, OBGYN, nurses, etc.- are extremely nice and caring in both locations. The birthing center was beautiful, comforting and accommodating. We used the Holistic Birthing Center, NYC throughout the pregnancy and for the birth of our first son. From our regular check-ups all the way through the actual birth, the experience was excellent. The Holistic birth center is a beautiful place to give birth. It makes you feel like you’re at home. The atmosphere is spa like as if you’re in a hotel.
