RecommendedI had my first baby in March at the birthing center and I had the most wonderful experience! I wanted to have the most natural birth as possible without unnecessary intervention. I felt relaxed and encouraged during my whole labor. I was never pressured or rushed at all. Best Birth experience I have had. Had my third child here and Shalmai was awesome. I felt listened to and well informed from pregnancy till I gave birth. Very caring and definitely knows her job. I think it says a lot that there is a whole pandemic going on and this was still the best birth experience I’ve had. My husband was able to catch my daughter and cut the cord that alone was amazing. I’m glad that I finally got to do a home birth and I am thankful for Shalmai and Jeanette who helped us make that happen.

Our experience with birth wellness far exceeded our expectations. I had a hospital birth with my first, so I had no idea what to expect going this route. I would absolutely use them again for any future pregnancies/births. They wery kind & caring and we always felt listened to. They were the perfect combination of "hands on/off" while I was in labor. Even during labor when I had a minor complication, they remained super calm & I honestly didn't know there was an issue at all until after my baby was safe in my arms. ❤️
After 3 previous births in the hospitals, I knew I wanted to do the 4th differently. We decided on a home birth with Carolyn and Shalmai. The whole pregnancy was so peaceful and relaxing thanks to the tender love and care we were shown all the way up through delivery and post partum. I'll never do it any other way with any other midwives.
Everything! We have experience nothing but love from our midwives! We enjoyed every moment of it and will def be recommending and even returning if we decide to have more children 💜🌺
