I’m sad about needing to write this review but I want potential clients to be aware of what they could potentially experience at BCC. TLDR: my care was excellent. The billing & refund process has been horrible and they won’t give me my refund back!! The good: My prenatal care was excellent! I loved all the people there. If you are considering giving birth here RECONSIDER IMMEDIATELY! I have been a client at BCC since November of 2024. We were so excited about preparing for an unmedicated birth. I gave birth to my first daughter in a hospital. Although I planned for an unmedicated water birth, when I arrived to be induced I was informed the OB’s had no clue that was my birthing plan. Birth Center of Chicago doesn't even deserve one star. I've been meaning to write this review for 10 months now, but I finally have the time to share my experience. Immediately from the moment I paid them and before, they were trying to transfer me out. I was completely healthy and fit ALL of the requirements needed to stay. My iron was low, but I eventually got it up. They were racist, they verbally attacked my mom and I. They were aggressive and shunned us almost until the money was paid.
