I feel so lucky to have met Marlena! She is a fantastic lactation consultant, extremely skilled, knowledgeable and warm. Marlena was amazing!! I was having a lot of mental distress trying to latch my 36 week old baby and she helped me and my baby in a lot of ways! She did a check on baby and we found out he was tense in his jaw, and needed support with learning techniques as he started to feed - something I never would have known! I ended up deciding to wean and not breastfeed my baby, but this decision was not met with judgement, and only encouragement for my own mental health.
