We just moved to the area and were really craving some authentic Mexican food. La Cocina did not disappoint. We ordered the birria tacos, birria ramen, and a carne asada burrito, and every single dish was outstanding. The birria was rich, flavorful, and incredibly tender. Probably the best birria pizza I've had in my life.
I don't understand these reviews if I'm being completely honest. To start off the tables were sticky and the others had some sort of sticker cover that was peeling. The waitress was nice but did not understand my order or simple questions. The wait for the food was very long even though we were the only customers for our first 20-30 minutes. Onwers were nice . The husband wouldn't stop talking. Hard to eat. The wife was very sweet but I'm sorry the food was not good at all. Unfortunately will never visit again. Still in search of a good Mexican restaurant:(
