I had my rear pumper replaced in this body shop and I asked them to detail clean the car from inside and to send the entire bill to the insurance and they fixed the pumper and they charged the insurance almost $180 for the detailed cleaning as we agreed but it was really bad and not even close to what is called detail cleaning and when I asked them about it they told me we sent it just to the most close detail cleaning shop. Wow! I asked for referrals from friends to have a big scratch repaired on my SUV. Several recommended BIrkholz. When I called and spoke to Tony, he was less than friendly. I told him what I was looking to have fixed and he asked what type of vehicle I have. When I told him it was an Infiniti, he said they only work on European cars. What? What difference does it make? I also have a European car that I will NEVER take to this business after how I was treated. Why be rude and close the door on future business or a possible ref... read more
100% would recommend to everyone. My car looks better than it did when I first bought it! I was treated just like family from start to finish. They even went the extra step and cleaned the interior top to bottom. Thanks again!
The service I had with Birkholz in Naperville was not only bad business practice, but was also a case of bait and switch. I had a simple insurance claim that involved some work for insurance proceeds. They had promised my car complete within 7 days; they had my car in their shop for almost double that and it still was not to satisfaction. Not only that, I was to pay a certain amount and when I showed up to pick up my car, which was not complete, they had tripled my bill and would not take the check from my insurance company.... read more
