The worst company I have ever dealt with! They quoted our job and said it would be done in a few weeks (this came from the sales person and the boss/owner). We all understand covid happens and there are delays for everything. However months later when they finally gave us an install date they were a no show! The day after we called and they had blocked our number.. After we finally got them on the phone they tell us they no longer have time for our project. RecommendedMy AC went out on a Tuesday night in July at about 10 pm . Birkhead came out to fix right away. There was nothing they could do with the 20 year old bad compressor at 11 pm. They were out the very next morning with new air handler and new compressor replacing the old 20 year unit seamlessly with a new Trane unit. Very professional, very responsive. I bought a home in Mt Washington in August 2019. As part of our agreement, the seller had the furnace and A/C cleaned and checked. She chose Birkhead and provided me with a receipt. The receipt read that the system was checked and cleaned, including the filter and found to be in good working order. The bill was for $89. About 3 or 4 days after moving in, I went to the basement to check the size on the furnace filter because I was making a run to the hardware store and wanted to stock up. installed a trane system heating and air high efficiency furnace back in and AC unit back in February had a few condensation issues with the air conditioning unit but the owner Wade Owen and all of his staff have worked diligently to resolve that issue they are very professional very courteous very intent on the systems that they use and just like the commercial says you cannot stop a trane I would highly highly recommend them for any of your HVAC needs Birkhead Heating and Cooling

I wanted to share with you that one of your employees went above and beyond today. Unfortunately I did not get his name. He was at Speedway on the corner of Hurstbourne and Shelbyville around 5pm on 6/22. I had left my wallet on my car and drove off. He found the wallet and drove all the way to Fern Creek to bring the wallet to me. This act of kindness brought tears to my eyes.
