8/22/2025 Seems to be going downhill. I went on birdwells website to buy more stuff and now I have to wade through foreign made stuff to fine made in usa stuff. Also think "surfstretch" fabric may be made in china. retail location closed, from the experience I had there after driving over an hour, that doesnt suprise me. I bought a pair of these surf trunks in 2023 directly from the company, knowing that they would stand behind any warranty issues that I might have in the future. However, less than two years later, I Noticed a tear in the stitching. Ordered x1 pair of the 808’s Aloha shorts in 32…too large and gave them to my oldest son. Ordered another pair a week later and decided to use expedited delivery…guess what? It will take the same time to deliver as first pair I ordered…due to order “processing” which apparently takes longer with expedited shipping…. To process the order…doesn’t really make sense but oh well…of course it’s not listed that it could take up to x6 days when you include processing, they only have 3 days listed next to the button to chose expedite... read more
Buyer beware! I bought the Comp Stripe Sweater ($175) and it started pilling within a few hours of wear. They claim "enduring quality" but it is poorly made and they don't stand behind their products. They do not allow returns and they didn't publish my review on the website. Super slimy company.
**Keep in mind that on their website they now allow up to 90 days for returns / exchanges to be processed** Read my experience below of when their return use to be 30 days. This company has gone downhill since I initially purchased products from them. As you will also see from other google reviews, this company removes negative reviews on their website.
