Writing this on behalf of my wife, who is a cancer survivor. During a recent phone call, a doctor at this clinic casually threw out a 2% cancer risk with zero tact, context, or compassion, leaving my wife terrified and in tears. For a survivor, medical calls require basic sensitivity and trauma-informed care, neither of which were present here. Very unhappy. I'm seeking help with menopause symptoms. The first doctor I saw tried to put me on an antidepressant that I've tried before and nearly died with. She also tricked me into getting a pap smear after I had repeatedly stated that I find the process to be very traumatic. The second doctor deferred the antidepressant after I again expressed my fear of dying from this medication. I was very impressed by the staff and the service here. The receptionists were very friendly and helpful. Dr. Jackson and Maria were both very knowledgeable in their field. They kept me calm and were so kind during a procedure that several other doctors either wouldn’t attempt or couldn’t do. They are great at what they do and my pain is finally manageable again thanks to them. Even in my Follow up phone call Maria was very empathetic and through.
Dr Jackson and the midwife Narelle are fantastic. I had a great experience and now pregnant with twins. Highly recommended.
Dr Jackson and Midwife/Nurse Narelle are both exceptional humans. They both made me feel at ease and helped guide me through an emotional journey. Both are very knowledgeable in their fields. I would highly recommend the team at Birds of Paradise to anyone struggling with fertility. These ladies get the job done, both passionate and proactive! Also, thankyou to the reception staff who were just as lovely and amazing! Almost 16 weeks pregnant today, thanks guys!
