The staff is far more knowledgeable and caring than the typical box store and you can feel good about spending your money with a privately owned local business. They have a great selection of fish, reptiles and birds as well as any supply you need for your pets!

Love the store! Love the people! They are so knowledable and helpful. A variety of healthy animals for any household.
This shop is my go to, even now that I don’t live in Crystal Lake anymore. I could easily go to the shop down the street from me, but I prefer Birds and Beasts. They are extremely knowledgeable no matter what issue you come in with and have an amazing selection of foods for birds and fish. It just keeps getting better and better now that they’ve started updating the shop!
