Birdies is a well thought out restaurant with an excellent set of decor and welcoming atmosphere. The menu is eclectic and creative, as are the cocktails. Boy those Shrimp and Grits were tasty. Overall though, our experience fell flat. The warm bread took 15 minutes to arrive dry and the crab dip was well put together but intolerably salty. Fantastic service! Those guys are awesome. I loved my Bennie but the biscuits and gravy was a little too alternative.
We finally went to Birdie’s yesterday after 2 previous attempts and the place did not disappoint. The drinks were fabulous! The food - Brussels, cauliflower, tuna, French dip sandwich and the salmon were all amazing. If you park in the garage across the street then don’t forget to get the ticket validated. We had reservations and there a few early hiccups with being seated in a timely manner. Shoutout to the staff - Alex, Tori and Kendra who were absolutely amazing! We will be back.

Birdie's salad with steak was delicious, steak was excellent. Service was friendly, nice atmosphere and a delicious blueberry vodka lemonade.
