Soooo slow. Over 10 minutes just for a basic chicken sandwich. And no one in the restaurant.
We've eaten here a few times. Food quality varies. I'm guessing it depends on who's cooking and how busy they are. When it's good, it's some of the best chicken sandwiches in Denver. When it's bad, it's some of the worst sandwiches anywhere. Ordering is awkward the first few times but we figured it out. It's worth a try
I took my kids to Birdcall, and they wanted some water. I looked around for water cups, saw them sitting on the counter, looked toward the kitchen, and didn't see anyone. I also didn't notice the small service bell, so I grabbed three cups and started filling them. I wasn't trying to bypass anyone—I simply didn't want to bother the staff. My wife has celiac, there aren't very many places that are as dedicated as this place. Red was our server and she was so helpful. Food was also prepared well with lots of flavor
With how close birdcall is to my house, it would be nice to go to more. Today I stopped by after not going for about 6 months due to their long wait times (right now I am sitting of a line of 3 cars at 1:30P.M. With a fairly empty parking lot.) This is when I learned they no longer do combos a staple of essentially every fast food restaurant everywhere.
