Woodpecker issue at my home in Florida with these birds pecking large holes into architectual styrofoam trim. After researching issue, I tried the special paint BirdBGone sells that is formulated to provide a nasty taste so when the woodpecker tries to chip the paint, they dislike the taste and find the texture hard to bore through. Purchased some bird deterrent mesh for my solar panels. It angered me that I had to even spend the money but pigeons decided to make a home on my roof and they make noise at all hours. The install was very easy. Watch the installation video on YouTube and should answer any questions you have. I found 5' and 3' to be the perfect lengths. Wire cutters and some black zip ties are a must. It will take a few hours to be completely done. I have had the worst customer service ever with bird b gone my packages were not delivered properly and I was getting the run around between Bird B Gone and FedEx and still hasn't yet to be resolved after 3 months Kristen from bird b gone even promised to give me a full refund if I showed I purchased the same material from somewhere else unfortunately due to this problem I lost a client it's not fair and bird b gone can refund me they just WON'T! bird b gone doesn't care about a small business customer like me so what makes... read more

This product is expensive and does not work. Don’t waste your money. We have been desperately searching for something to keep the birds from nesting in our front and back patios. We have tried wind chimes, danglers and now bird b gone. We had high hopes with the reviews we read but are sorely disappointed by a very expensive fail. The birds are just landing on top of these devices and even when I put in a new refill to see if that would help (though the first one was only in there for 3 weeks), the birds just mocked us.
