Birchwood Health-now called CedarView Health-Very disappointing experience. I don't feel my intake or appointments were thorough despite trialling several new medications. Provider often felt rushed and had extremely limited spots for virtual appointments, prescribed me a new medication without checking my other medications to see if they would interact (they would, the pharmacist kindly let me know so I luckily did not take it). Do not go here!! I thought I had finally found someplace that would take my insurance, I established care, started on new meds, and one month in got dropped by the providers. Now I am left scrambling to find someone else to prescribe my meds ( which is so unsafe), and desperately looking for a new therapist at $200 per session ( which I cannot afford) . They do not care about patients here. This is unsafe and quite frankly feels illegal! Stay away!
WARNING FOR ANYONE WHO ACTUALLY NEEDS MENTAL HEALTH HELP!!!! I am so disappointed and angry. I was actually very impressed with my practitioner. I wanted to find someone I can trust and count on, and thought I had. While meeting with my provider we agreed to try a specific medication. I explained that it would need to be approved by insurance, and certain information must be provided for them to approve it. She assured me that this was possible. Felt very seen, listened to, and taken care of by my doctors and therapist. Very patient staff who always returned my phone calls, and fulfilled all requests. Highly recommend, if I didn’t have to move to Texas I would still be with them.
