Always a good experience I actually enjoy going. Very honest, friendly and reasonable.
DO NOT TAKE YOUR KIDS HERE!!!! the female dentist did not wait long enough for the numbing medicine to kick in. She told him if he felt pain to raise his hand, he did ...he was screaming in pain her she did not stop to give him more numbing medicine. My daughter heard her brother in so much pain in the lobby along with another client. My son felt every single pull of his tooth!!! She should have stopped when he was in that much pain. Alas, very sad to give this review as I was very satisfied with Dr. Carlson. I was a patient for multiple years and had a dental insurance change that resulted in Birchwood no longer being covered. Completely on me for not re-confirming my benefits. What saddened me is that Birchwood let me incur two visits where I would need to pay out of pocket before any notification. On communication with the office manager, I got a primer on the financial authorization I signed and EOBs and such, which again I completely understand, but... read more
