I would not recommend this building to anyone. A friend of mine is moving out after dealing with extremely poor living conditions and ongoing maintenance concerns There were serious signs of water damage, peeling walls/ceilings, holes, and mold in parts of the building/unit. What was especially frustrating was seeing maintenance recently paint over damaged areas instead of properly addressing the underlying issues. The Ingerman Corporation has a number of these properties across the country for lower income residents. They collect the rent, surely must get subsidies but do not provide their building managers with adequate funding to maintain a safe, clean, upgraded apartment building. Water is often turned off without notice b/c pipes are so old and corroded they have to be cut out of the walls when they clog.
