We made our reservations way back on Feb 2020. We have a big group that go and we plan what sites we want so we are all together. Get there and everything is switched around due to Covid. No one called to let us know of the changes or anything. Were told more or less deal with it or leave. And good luck finding anyplace else. They made all accomodations for the "Seasonal's" instead and changed majority of camsites now for seasonals. We like campground last year so booked in February 2020 for 5 campsites. We arrived at check in and were told our sites were taken by seasonal’s. Fine, I get it but you could have called and told us that you would still get us all together. We get there and they hadn’t even had us together. No apologies just that we could go somewhere else as 4 campers in our group were already there and one drove 3 1/2 hours. Customer service sucks and front desk lady is not easy to deal with. RecommendedAmazing place to stay! So many activities to do and they are very accommodating. I would highly recommend. It was a very fun weekend and a very enjoyable place to stay. Would definitely recommend!!!
Very disappointing. Don’t rely on the map online for the layout of the campground what we thought would be a split rail fence between us and the lake turned out to be an 8 foot privacy fence, street and houses. Lots of poison ivy along the lake shore. We listened to them mowing the lawn for over 6 hours. Couldn’t escape that even when we walked to the lake that noise followed us. RecommendedWe just spent 7 days in the loon cabin. It was perfect for our needs. It’s cute and cozy. We then got to enjoy the beach, the awesome lake for fishing and the view from the cabin is amazing. The staff is pleasant and accommodating.
