Unorganized, unprofessional, and understaffed. While some of the staff can be nice and are doing the best to work with the situation at hand, it's just not sustainable given the depleted workforce and heavy workload. Wait times are outrageous and yet there is no system in place to deny new appointments being set in order to manage the workflows and make wait times reasonable for donors. I was deferred for a day due to my temperature being “too low” they claimed it was 80, but you don’t have to be a genius or a doctor to know if my temp was really that low I’d be freezing and have hyperthermia. I was told to sit down for 15 minutes they redid it but it was still low at 90, hmm?🤔 This isn’t making sense, so I ask can they use a mouth thermometer and not the surface one I was told I had to come back on Tuesday due to them not being open on Mondays. Quick and easy for most be intentional and on time great staff here very important and most of all informs all patients risk etc.they do their job security and all
I have been to almost all the other donation facilities and this by far is the best on the south side. They are fast and efficient whenever I come for my scheduled appointment. I've been coming for nearly two months now and every time they improve their process and get me in and out faster. The staff is incredibly professional. They always have security there, and I feel as if they all take pride in what they do. I'm honestly surprised to see so many compliments.
