Update 8/21/26 Center Mgr did call me and apologized for her staffs behavior. Then I received a call from a guy name Noah'. I stopped by the center while in town to see what Noah wanted and apparently he was too busy to speak today so he sent a sweet lady to check with me what was going on. But the botrom line is they still have this deferral placed on my file and the only way to get it removed is to oay a doctors visit to fill out a form. i was a new donor last week and was pretty nervous because im scared of needles but sade was gentle and explained everything to me and i had a good experience overall !!
Went in. Sat there and waited on someone to come wait on me as a new donor. I had a 2:30 appt arrived at 2:04. I am also unemployed for 7 months and im single, its just me. Unemployment has stopped, 46 interviews and not any job offers. Zero income. Resorted to donating plasma for gas money to get to my next interview. I have voluntarily donated multiple times due to being Oneg (universal donor and they call me.all the time to donate!)
