Whole being stuck the first time the nurse stuck the needle in and THEN started to probe around. My arm hasn't felt right since. More then likely got a nerve or tendon. I'm healthy and now I can't perform my job duties. I just needed cash for food. Instead I got messed up with a needle and can't work, all with no compensation.
This place has quite a few nice and professional workers but there are a couple loud, unprofessional, messy ones that ruin the experience for everyone. They play with the donors and yell and have inappropriate conversations. I have seen them turn down people they don’t want to stick, just flat out refuse! They don’t care how hard they stick you and if you give almost a whole bottle of plasma, if something goes wrong, they only give you $5!
I love that I get to potentially help others, while helping myself. The staff is very helpful, kind, and a joy to be around.
Have been donating with another plasma center, but relocating to that side of town so decided to try them. When I went in for my third donation, they said my protein level was either too high or too low and I would have to do more bloodwork and weight I’m guessing 23 weeks that’s how long the first one took to come in, I asked them what was wrong they said they didn’t know. So I’m supposed to take more bloodwork so you can tell me that you don’t know what’s wrong so I can’t fix it. CSL pay five dollars less a week after your... read more

ut she had to stretch and move around to grab things and throw things away while one hand on the needs was not yet taped to arm. So not awesome. But the 2nd lady! All of a sudden my alrm started bulging bedside my vein and of course i was a bit worried and nervous and said hello, yo! It was half the size of a golf ball and was increasing fast.
