This is my first time donating here and this place puts Octapharma to shame. From the people, to the processes. Kathleen, the nurse, was phenomenal!! I njoyed talking to her although we probably talked too much lol The whole new donor process only took about 2.5 hrs. Everybody there is so nice if you have a question they can answer it every step of the process is awesome the only thing I had a problem with was I have DVT and they couldn't find a vein to put the needle in I would like to find somebody that not scared to poke and find that vein
Lydia & Haley have been phenomenal every time I donate. They are just great at their jobs and lovely people to be around tbh!! Carolina seems to be a great new addition to their staff as well, she stuck me last time and she knows what she’s doin!
Great facility and staff. Place is slow though. Can take a out 45 minutes before getting vitals taken. Then another wait to get into a chair and even then another wait to start the donation. It usually takes at least 1 to 1.5 hours just to get into a chair before you start a donation. So the payout for time it takes to complete a donation is almost worth the time. No point to make an appointment unless you are a first time donor.
Extreme clean and The staff @ the Chesapeake location is so amazing. Very kind, professional and genuine people. Highly recommended.
