COPD Reason for not accepting our plasma. Long wait, spent over an hour on redundant computer questions. Finally saw nurse and her first question was "do you have asthma"... I said yes... she replied "Our policy is if you have COPD you're not a candidate". Wasted morning and I should have been told that asthma disqualifies you from the start.
Wait was very long, I had finger stick, ok to go, I spent a good hour on the computer answering questions. Finally got into the nurse's office and her first question is.. "do you have asthma?".. I said yes... she said "OH, if you have COPD we can't take plasma from you, it's our policy"... that should have been something I knew about from the first minute, that should be grouped with the other reasons for rejection.. like HIV, HEP Positive... what a huge waste of time.
Wait times are horrible, it is taking a lot of time waiting in line before the process. They should staff more as they know how many are coming in for appointments, this is no walk in clinic. I'm giving them one more try.
Wait times are horrible. Last Monday 4/19 I waited an 1 hour and 20 minutes to get in the door, to stand in line again waiting to do questions. It took a whole 3.5 hours from start to finish. Staff are friends but they need to keep the talking to a minimum when customers have been waiting to get in and donate. I know they are under stress and understaff. Recently services have been horrible.
clean comfortable great staff good apt calender
great staff. only problem is i've been trying to get on the app for days and it won't load nor will the website!!! very frustrating. i don't understand why it can't be fixed!!!
Understaffed and medical personnel that lies about faxing documentation to doctor to be eligible to donate.
The past few months they've been understaffed to the point it can take up to 3 hours at any time in the day before you're in and out. Today it's not busy at all and there's the waiting list is on page 2 with half the building empty. 4 staff at the desk with no one waiting to get checked in.
The Staff is great. However they are so understaffed they are always behind now days. I have been going for years and in the last few months. They have had so many issue.. Like running out of Band Aids, bottles for plasma and others I can't recall right now. In the past I would be in and out in an hour to 1 1/2 on almost every visit. It now is to the point that it's closer to 3 hrs on average.. I was just in this morning @ 6:45 and the finger stick line was all the way back to the door, only 2 on staff to do the finger stick... read more
